今天，是美國加州的“喬布斯日”。喬布斯2011年10月5日辭世，至今已三年。

今天推送的這首詩與喬布斯有關(guān)。所有人都在談?wù)搯滩妓箤ξ覀兊氖澜绠a(chǎn)生了多深遠的影響力，我們今天想談?wù)摰氖牵涸姼?，對喬布斯曾產(chǎn)生了怎樣的影響。

1997年，喬布斯和他的蘋果以一支主題為Think Different的廣告片，開啟了一個時代。這支廣告片的主題是向瘋狂者致敬(To the crazy ones)——只有那些瘋狂到以為自己能夠改變世界的人，才能真正改變世界。這個廣告的創(chuàng)意靈感，來自電影《死亡詩社》。據(jù)說，廣告公司提交第一稿文案的時候，喬布斯非常不滿意，他大聲咆哮：“我原以為你們會寫出《死亡詩社》那樣的東西！”

順帶提一下，喬布斯跟《死亡詩社》的男主演、羅賓·威廉姆斯（Robin Williams）私交甚篤。今年8月，羅賓-威廉姆斯辭世，蘋果在其網(wǎng)站首頁致敬并哀悼。在羅賓之前，只有兩個人有此待遇：喬布斯和曼德拉。

今年1月份，蘋果為iPad air推出了一支名為《你的贊美詩》（Your Verse Anthem）的新廣告片，引用了惠特曼這首《O Me! O Life!》，也是《死亡詩社》里讀過的。

交代了這么多前因后果，重要，也不重要。其實我的本意，是直接引用《死亡詩社》下面這段臺詞來作為今天的推薦語——

我們讀詩、寫詩并不是因為它們可愛，而是因為我們是人類的一分子，而人類是充滿激情的。沒錯，醫(yī)學(xué)、法律、商業(yè)、工程——這些都是崇高的追求，是謀生的必須。但詩歌、美、浪漫、愛——這些才是我們活著的意義.

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race.And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering -- these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love -- these are what we stay alive for.
