英譯英：“好的一面”是on the bright side，“壞的一面”呢？? 我們說我們耗費(fèi)十年八年學(xué)習(xí)英語，其根本目的不是通通用中文“懂得”了這些英語，而是應(yīng)該像我這樣，首先是從任何一條英語學(xué)習(xí)中養(yǎng)成一種習(xí)慣和條件反應(yīng)：What does it mean in English? “知道它的中文”不是我們學(xué)習(xí)英語的目的：Not at all “好的一面”是on the bright side，“壞的一面”呢？ 應(yīng)該說，英語不是這么學(xué)的：“好的一面”可能是on the bright side，但是，on the bright side就不是中文“好的一面”了：我們會(huì)習(xí)慣性的查英英字典。 這就是我們的英語學(xué)習(xí)需要做的。 一、下面的英語你只有用“翻譯”成中文才能理解了嗎？ 1. Look on the bright side—at least you work very hard on your English even though you fail in your exams every time. 2. The movie is sold out, but, on the bright side, there are plenty of other ones I wouldn't mind seeing)I could see. 二、口語：Okay.I got you. 1. Well,on the bright side means We consider=think about the positive side,(=the beneficial side=the advantageous side of something,or somebody=someone=people. 2.It's different from on the down side(=the negative side=the detrimental(big word能記就記，不能就免了吧，但我希望為了讓人覺得你的英語牛B，還是記住吧，可以show一把) ,or disadvantageous side. 這下，你還怕死記硬背還是記不住on the bright side而讓口語啞口無言嗎？“換詞說唄！” 3. Look on the bright side=Speaking positively=advantageously...... 我們只有堅(jiān)持這樣學(xué)習(xí)，十年八年后我們的英語才會(huì)真正“成長”，而且習(xí)慣一旦形成，英語想忘人家都不會(huì)讓你忘。。。。。。 所以，有了英語的準(zhǔn)確理解能力，on the bright side也不只是中文“好的一面”：積極的，陽光的，正能量的。。。。。。 |
