Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with a history of thousands of years of clinical practice, is gaining more and more attention and application worldwide. And TCM-based new drug development, especially for the treatment of complex diseases is promising. However, owing to the TCM’s diverse ingredients and their complex interaction with human body, it is still quite difficult to uncover its molecular mechanism, which greatly hinders the TCM modernization and internationalization. BATMAN-TCM的主要功能包括:1、中藥組成成分的靶標(biāo)預(yù)測;2、潛在靶標(biāo)的功能分析;3、成分-靶標(biāo)-通路/疾病關(guān)聯(lián)網(wǎng)絡(luò)的可視化;4、中藥不同組分的比較分析。 1) TCM ingredients’ target prediction; 2) functional analyses of targets including biological pathway, Gene Ontology functional term and disease enrichment analyses; 3) the visualization of ingredient-target-pathway/disease association network and KEGG biological pathway with highlighted targets; 4) comparison analysis of multiple TCMs. Finally, they applied BATMAN-TCM to Qishen Yiqi dripping Pill (QSYQ) and combined with subsequent experimental validation to reveal the functions of renin-angiotensin system responsible for QSYQ’s cardioprotective effects for the first time. 圖2 芪參益氣滴丸的實驗驗證結(jié)果 BATMAN-TCM將促進(jìn)對中藥“多成分、多靶標(biāo)、多通路”的聯(lián)合治療機(jī)制的理解,為后續(xù)的實驗驗證提供線索。 BATMAN-TCM is available at http://bionet./batman-tcm.
