GRE寫作的issue題目是由話題和指令構成的。話題大家都容易理解，那么指令又是什么呢？不同的指令代表不同的寫作要求，所以我們除了分析話題以外，也要按照指令的要求來進行寫作。

It is important that you address the central issue according to the specific instructions. Each task is accompanied by one of the following sets of instructions:

指令一：

    Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

指令分析：

這條指令所對應的Issue Task一般是陳述型的statement。考生可以討論同意或不同意的程度，并解釋理由，也可以用讓步的結構來進行兩個方面的分析。但不管用哪種寫法，在論述過程中，考生應當考慮有什么方法或在什么條件變化的情況下，可以讓這個statement的對錯性改變或者立場改變。

這條指令的關鍵點：

1、題目中的事實或觀點是否在某些特定的條件下成立？如果是，我如何認為它們？

2、題目中的事實或觀點成立的條件是什么？這些條件有沒有漏洞？我如何評價它們？

3、我同意和不同意的程度，正反兼顧體現(xiàn)我的立場。

指令二：

    Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape your position.

指令分析：

這一條指令和第一條指令有些類似，主要區(qū)別在于，這條指令主要強調recommendation “建議”。大多數(shù)情況下，也是針對某種行為或者某種措施進行陳述。在討論的過程中，要重點討論specific circumstances，也就是特定環(huán)境對這個行為或措施的效果影響。例如，要具體分析在什么樣的情況下這些recommendation可能無法達到預期效果。

這條指令的關鍵點：

1、題目中recommendation的可行性和有效性？這樣做什么益處？

2、如果按照題目的recommendation操作，是否會導致和最初目標想互矛盾或漏洞百出的結果？

3、除了題目提到的recommendation，是否還有別的辦法？

指令三：

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing and supporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/or examples that could be used to challenge your position.

指令分析：

   這條指令主要是針對一個claim，在論述中，考生一定要提出最有說服力的理由或者用來挑戰(zhàn)自己觀點的例子來進行論述分析，也就是考生要從自己觀點的對立面來反證自己的觀點。

這條指令的關鍵點：

1、題目中的claim基于什么標準？這些標準有哪些合理性？

2、和題目中的claim對立面的claim是什么？有哪些理由可以來支持對立面的claim？

3、對于題目中claim 的漏洞有哪些修正辦法？

指令四：

    Write a response in which you discuss which view more closely aligns with your own position and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should address both of the views presented.

指令分析：

這條指令針對的issue題目中肯定存在兩個claim，這要求考生在討論的時候，要指出題目中的哪個claim跟自己的claim比較接近，而且在寫作中要對題目中的兩種觀點都有所回應，都要分析。

這條指令的關鍵點：

1、題目中兩種claim的可行性？按照這兩種claim實施分別有哪些好處？

2、按照題目中的claim實施會導致哪些不好的后果/風險/隱患？

3、有沒有plan B可以代替題目中的claim？

指令五：

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim and the reason on which that claim is based.

指令分析：

這條指令和其他指令相比，要開放得多，沒有那么多的邊界要求限制，考生可以自由發(fā)揮，但在自由發(fā)揮的同時仍然要注意自圓其說。

這條指令的關鍵點：

1、支持題目中claim的原因是否成立？

2、假設題目中原因成立，從原因出發(fā)，能否推出原題中的claim？

指令六：

Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.

指令分析：

   這條指令是針對某個policy展開討論的，要求考生在論述過程中，重點討論實施這個policy可能帶來哪些consequences ，也就是對policy的效果進行分析，從而推出policy本身是否可行。

這條指令的關鍵點：

1、題目中的policy有哪些可行性？按照這個policy實施也可以產生哪些益處？

2、題目中的policy是否會導致與目標相悖的矛盾？是否會帶來別的風險或隱患？

3、針對題目中的policy，有沒有其他更好的建議或辦法？
