目前中高考英語測試，考查“時(shí)間段 later”相當(dāng)于“after 時(shí)間段”，常使用一般過去時(shí)。

當(dāng)然我們?cè)趯?shí)際的英語中也看到了其他形式：

第1種形式：時(shí)間段 later——will do

第2種形式：時(shí)間段 later——did

第3種形式：時(shí)間段 later——do/does

第4種形式：時(shí)間段 later——would do

第5種形式：時(shí)間段 later——would be doing

第6種形式：時(shí)間段 later——was to do

第1種形式：時(shí)間段 later——will do sth（表達(dá)一般將來時(shí)的含義）
