兩者： 
both 意為“(兩者)都”  
either意為“(兩者中)任意一個” 
neither 意為“(兩者)都不”  

若要指三者或三者以上： all 意為“(三者)都”  
any 意為“(三者中)任何一個” 
none 意為“(三者)都不”等。

1、either,表示兩者中的任何一個，例：  
Either your watches or mine is wrong.不是你們的表不準, 就是我的表不準。 
Either of the plans is equally dangerous.這兩個計劃中, 哪一個都同樣有危險。
2.neither表示兩者都不是的。例：  
Neither hand is clean.兩只手都不干凈。 
Neither man spoke.兩個人都不說話。  
On neither side of the street are there any trees.街道兩旁都沒有什么樹木。
注：either 和 neither 的謂語形式不能簡單的定性為單數(shù)或復(fù)數(shù)！要根據(jù)句意準確判斷。
就近原則，either 和 neither 是有此規(guī)定的。  
例： either/neither jack or/nor I am a student.我和杰克都是/都不是學(xué)生。   
3.both 兩者都是。謂語一定要用復(fù)數(shù)！ 
如：Jackie and I are both self-employed. 杰克和我都自己當(dāng)老板。
