遇到問題：在合并兩個(gè)點(diǎn)shp文件總是報(bào)錯(cuò)，查看后找到原因

關(guān)于Shapefile的multipoint feature和point feature,ESRI是如下定義的：multipoint feature **A feature that consists of**more than one point but only references one set of attributes**in the database. For example, a system of oil wells might be**considered a multipoint feature, since there is a single set of**attributes for multiple well holes.point feature A zero-dimensional**abstraction of an object; a single x,y coordinate pair that**represents a geographic feature too small to be displayed**as a line or area at that scale.

解決辦法：使用ArcGIS的ArcToolbox里的Data Managemnt Tools--Features--Feature to Point工具轉(zhuǎn)換。雖然ArcGIS幫助里沒有介紹Feature to Point可以把Shapefile格式的 multipoint feature 轉(zhuǎn)化為point feature功能。但這個(gè)工具的確可以轉(zhuǎn)換，比較好用。

當(dāng)然，使用低版本MapInfo的通用轉(zhuǎn)換器轉(zhuǎn)換，把MapInfo的tab格式轉(zhuǎn)換為shp格式時(shí)生成的是point feature。
