蘭之猗猗，揚(yáng)揚(yáng)其香。

不採而佩，于蘭何傷？

我行四方，以日以年。

雪霜貿(mào)貿(mào)，薺麥之茂。
The luxuriance of the frost and snow (will bring) luxuriant crops (in spring)

子如不傷，我不爾覯。
If you are not sad I will not come to see you.

薺麥之茂，薺麥之有。
Luxuriant crops (mean) a good harvest

君子之傷，君子之守。
Although a gentleman may be sad, he keeps proper conduct.
