Step 1: Identifying Needs 問(wèn)問(wèn)自己，你想要什么？
Figuring out what you want and need from your careers may be the most time-consuming activity for career seekers in planning mode. You won't be discouraged if you spend weeks, months, or years sorting out Step 1.
首先要問(wèn)自己你希望從你的職業(yè)中獲得什么。這也許是規(guī)劃職業(yè)生涯步驟中最耗時(shí)的一個(gè)部分。關(guān)于這個(gè)問(wèn)題，你考慮幾個(gè)星期，或者幾個(gè)月，甚至是幾年，其實(shí)都不為過(guò)。

Imagine life after retirement. What can be said about a lifetime of work? What has been accomplished? How is time spent now? These things should be added to the brainstorm list.

Step 2: Defining Big Picture Goals 讓目標(biāo)藍(lán)圖清晰點(diǎn)，再清晰點(diǎn)。
Describe what the vision of success in that career would be. A sample goal statement would be, "I want to become a commercial pilot, and own my own two-engine plane so I can transport people from island to island in the Caribbean. I believe I would enjoy this because I would meet people from all over the world, be up in the air where I love to be, and have an independent lifestyle in paradise."

Step 3: Setting Short-Term Objectives 設(shè)定短期目標(biāo)
Having accomplished the creation of big picture goal statements, the next step is to list, under each goal statement, smaller goals (called objectives) that will help accomplish the big picture goal. It helps to list them in order of how the career seeker will pursue them, if there is an established career path. Examples of objectives might be:
在完成了目標(biāo)藍(lán)圖的具體設(shè)想之后，下一步，設(shè)定小的短期目標(biāo)去幫助自己實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的宏偉藍(lán)圖。要實(shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想，列一個(gè)步驟清單是很有幫助的。比如說(shuō)：

2.Find a job in the field of ______ that will provide me with relevant work experience that will help me achieve my goal.

Step 4: Listing Tasks and Resources 理出你每一步任務(wù)和可利用資源
Under each objective, write down smaller objectives (tasks) that support the larger ones. Be specific - every piece of the puzzle should be included here. For example
上面的每一個(gè)目標(biāo)，都要將促使其完成的更細(xì)一步的任務(wù)列出來(lái)。一定要精確。每一項(xiàng)都要列出來(lái)。比如：

Step 5: Establishing a Timeline 一定要設(shè)定時(shí)間截點(diǎn)
The last step in the Career Project Plan is to lay out a timeline of when the career seeker would like to, or can plan on, achieving each objective. Each task should have its own row, and columns should reflect each week, month, and year. Set target dates for accomplishing each task.

最后一件事情就是為每一個(gè)項(xiàng)目設(shè)置一個(gè)時(shí)間截點(diǎn)。在任務(wù)安排表上，每一個(gè)任務(wù)都有自己獨(dú)立的一行，顯示出任務(wù)應(yīng)該完成的年、月、日。

There are many sample project plan templates that can be found and downloaded by searching on the Internet, and there are software programs that can be used to create a project plan, such as Microsoft Excel or programs specifically for project planning.
