試著了解我。

Try to understand me.

如果我吃得臟兮兮，甚至已不會穿衣服，耐心一點。你記得我曾經(jīng)花了多少時間教你這些事嗎？

Be patient when you find out that I mess up while eating, or worse, that I am unable to dress up. Can you imagine how many hours I have spent on teaching you how to do these things well?

當我一再重復說著同樣的事情，請你不要打斷我，聽我說。你小的時候，我必須一遍又一遍地讀著同樣的故事，直到你靜靜睡著。

Do not interrupt me when I repeat the same thing over and again. Listen to me, my child. When you were small I had to repeat the same story thousand of times before you fell asleep with satisfaction.

當我不想洗澡，不要羞辱我，也不要責罵我。你記得小時候我曾編出多少理由，只為了哄你洗澡。

Do not humiliate, nor blame me, just because I don’t want to take a bath. I still remember that when you were small I had to make up numerous excuses just to talk you into accepting a bath.

當你看到我對新科技一無所知，給我一點時間，不要嘲笑我。我曾教會了你多少事情?。喝绾魏煤玫爻裕绾魏煤玫卮?，如何面對你的生命。

Do not mock me when you find out that I am thoroughly ignorant of modern technologies. Just allow me some time to catch up. How I admire myself for teaching you so many things as how to eat well, how to dress well, and how to face your life.

如果交談中我忽然失憶，不知該說什么了，給我一點時間想想。如果我還是無能為力，不要緊張，對我而言，重要的不是說話，而是能跟你在一起！

Give me one more minute to think hard if I suffer from a sudden amnesia in the course of a conversation with you. Do not get nervous if I’m still at a loss. The most important thing, to me, is not to talk with you, but to be with you.

當我的腿不聽使喚，扶我一把！就像我當初扶著你踏出人生的第一步。

Give me your hand when my legs fail, just as I did to help you with your first step in your lifetime.

Do not be sentimental, angry, or complaintive when I approach you. You will have to stay close to me, understand me and help me, as I did to help you understand your life.

Give me a hand, and help me live the rest of my days, with your love and patience. In return, I will repay you with my smile and everlasting love for you.
